Community Involvement

WealthWorks & The Wescoe Foundation for Pulmonary Fibrosis

At WealthWorks Financial, we believe in giving back to our community and supporting causes that make a real impact. That’s why we’re proud to be a part of The Wescoe Foundation for Pulmonary Fibrosis Golf Outing, now in its 4th annual event on September 20, 2024.

This event is more than just a golf tournament—it’s an opportunity to raise awareness, fund research, and support individuals and families affected by Pulmonary Fibrosis. Join us for a day of golf, camaraderie, and meaningful impact as we work together to support this important cause.

Why This Cause Matters to Us

Pulmonary Fibrosis became a deeply personal cause for us when Mike’s father was diagnosed a few years ago. Seeing firsthand the challenges of this condition, we knew we had to take action. By partnering with The Wescoe Foundation for Pulmonary Fibrosis (WFPF), we’re helping to spread awareness, raise funds, and support those living with the disease.

This foundation provides education, advocacy, and resources to patients and their families, ensuring they have the tools and support they need to maintain the highest possible quality of life.

What is Pulmonary Fibrosis?

Decades of Experience, One Shared Mission

Pulmonary Fibrosis is a progressive lung disease that causes scarring of the lung tissue, making it increasingly difficult to breathe. As the lungs stiffen, oxygen levels decrease, leading to severe respiratory issues.

  • No known cure – Once scarring occurs, it cannot be reversed.
  • Symptoms worsen over time – Shortness of breath, chronic cough, and fatigue are common.
  • Limited treatment options – Therapies focus on slowing disease progression and improving quality of life.
